Nice pile of nuts. My parents have 2 black walnut trees in the front lawn at the home in Newark--growing up I always wondered at the walnuts dropped from overhead as I walked by, making a loud and solid "thud" as they hit the asphalt of the driveway. What would happen if one of those nuts decided to fall my way....ouch!

ReplyDeleteOne did hit a neighbor last year! This year's crop seems to be a little lighter---fortunately.
