Apollo 11 - July 20, 1969

Whow! ... 40 years ago today, I was an American Peace Corps Volunteer in a small village on the Indian Deccan Plateau.

Here in my mud/stone room with a cow dung floor and walls, some of my village friends & co-workers listen to the Apollo 11 moon landing/walk on the radio (Voice of America, Bangkok) and as noted by the newspaper headlines.
